Shotvana vs Shotova: two tools, two companies
Let's clear up the obvious thing first: Shotvana and Shotova are not the same company. Similar names, similar category, no relationship. We're Shotvana, at shotvana.com. If you meant the other one, they're at shotova.com and this page will tell you honestly when they're the better pick.
We built this comparison from their public site in September 2026. If something below is out of date or wrong, tell us and we'll correct it.
The short version
Shotova turns one product photo into a whole listing pack — studio shots, virtual model shots, ghost mannequin, extra angles, a social creative, a product video, and AI-written listing copy.
Shotvana does one job: you upload one photo, describe the scene you want in plain words, and get a finished, ad-quality image with your product unchanged.
Broad toolkit versus one focused tool. That's the whole difference, and it decides which one suits you.
What each one costs
| Shotvana | Shotova | |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 5 photos, 7-day trial | 10 images/month |
| Entry | $9 pack — 12 photos, 3-month validity | $9/month — 100 images |
| Mid | $14/month — 80 photos | $29/month — 350 images |
| Higher | $29/month — 200 photos | $59/month — 800 images |
| Top | $79/month — 500 photos | — |
| Roughly per image | $0.15–$0.18 on monthly plans | $0.07–$0.09 |
Shotova is cheaper per image, clearly. We're not going to dress that up: if cost per image is your deciding factor, they win it.
Where Shotova is stronger
- Price at volume. Two to three times more images per dollar.
- Video. They generate product video; we don't generate video at all.
- Listing copy. SEO titles and descriptions, which we don't write.
- Apparel tooling. Ghost mannequin and size charts, which we don't have.
- More asset types. Banners, pins, packaging mockups, logos.
If you want one subscription that produces everything a listing needs, that's their pitch and it's a real one.
Where Shotvana is focused
- You direct the scene in words. Type "garden", "marble", "dark luxe" — or write a full custom background prompt on paid plans — and the scene follows the description.
- You can supply your own background image. Useful when a brand already has a set or a surface it uses everywhere.
- Your product stays exactly as it is. We build around your item, not a new version of it.
- Six styles and an optional model, with square, portrait and landscape from the same shot.
- A pure-white marketplace shot is one click, for Amazon's main-image rule.
On image quality and how faithfully a scene follows a prompt, we think we're the stronger of the two — but that's our opinion about our own product, which is worth exactly what you'd expect. Both tools have a free tier. Run your own product through both and judge with your eyes.
Which one should you pick
Pick Shotova if: you need a lot of images a month at the lowest price, you want video and listing copy in the same place, or you sell apparel and need ghost mannequin shots.
Pick Shotvana if: you care most about how the final picture looks, you want to art-direct the scene in your own words, or you want to reuse a specific background across a whole catalogue.
Pick neither if: your product's material is the whole sale — a gemstone's fire, a fabric's weave — and no generated scene will replace a good photographer for that hero shot.
FAQ
Are Shotvana and Shotova the same company?
No. Different companies, similar names, no connection.
Which is cheaper?
Shotova, on every comparable tier.
Does either one change how my product looks?
Both are built to place your real product into a new setting. Check any output before publishing it: if the item in the image isn't the item you ship, marketplaces treat that as misrepresentation.
Can I try both before paying?
Yes. Shotvana gives 5 photos on a 7-day trial; Shotova has a free tier of 10 images a month.
Does Shotvana do video?
No. If you need video, Shotova or a dedicated video tool is the better answer today.
