Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, and your name if you provide it.
- Photos you upload and the images we generate from them.
- Usage information: how you use the app, collected through analytics.
- Payment information: handled by our payment processor (see below); we do not store your card details.
How we use your information
To provide and operate the service, process your photos into generated images, bill your plan, provide support, and improve the product.
Third parties we rely on
We use a small set of providers to run Shotvana. Here is what each one does and the data it touches:
- Supabase — authentication, database and file storage. It holds your account details, the photos you upload, and the records of the images we generate.
- OpenAI — the image model that renders your generated image. Your uploaded photo and the scene prompt are sent to it to produce the result.
- Anthropic (Claude) — turns your product photo and scene description into the prompt used for generation. Your uploaded photo and text are sent to it for that step.
- Cloudflare R2 — object storage that keeps your generated images so your gallery stays available.
- Polar — our payment processor and merchant of record. It handles your card details; we do not store them.
- Vercel — our hosting provider. It serves the app and processes requests.
- Google Analytics — usage analytics that help us understand how the app is used and improve it.
Your images
You keep the rights to the photos you upload and the images you generate. We process them only to provide the service (generation, storage and delivery back to you). We do not sell your images or use them to train models.
Cookies and analytics
We use analytics to understand usage and improve the app. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data by emailing info@shotvana.com.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data. Email info@shotvana.com and we'll act on it.
Children
Shotvana is not intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own by the providers listed above.

We'll update this page and the "last updated" date when this policy changes.
